Biscuit is a stunning, friendly, very well-rounded Akita. She is just over 2 years old, fully house-trained and socialised with dogs. She does not like cats or pigeons!
We know the dog personally and she is social and very emotionally stable. We state that because it is known that some dogs of this breed struggle with change. She has spent time away from the family in another person’s care and returned to the home, with no issues.
She truly is a beautiful soul. She has lived with children aged 5 and 12, from a pup; and continues to live with them. She walks very well on the lead, although something of interest, like a squirrel or pigeon will get her attention. She has lived with another dog for some of her life, but she is happy being a sole dog.
After some initial excitement of meeting you, Biscuit settles down calmly and watches the world go by. She loves to play with a ball in the garden and have a free run in an enclosed dog park. She takes little or no notice of other dogs or people on walks, but she could pull if something attracted her.
She is friendly, curious, but not overbearing at all. A few initial jump ups she soon settles and her attention goes to walking or playing ball.
She has shared two households and transferred between the two with no issue. There is no resource or people guarding. She is a very well-rounded socialised dog.
She will have rescue back up from Team Poundie and we will cover the cost of spaying. She is in Telford.
