6 Years Old | Neutered | No Small Children | Sole Dog
This stunning boy is a 6-year-old neutered Mastiff/American Bulldog/Staffie cross with a heart as big as his paws. Despite the love and best intentions of his previous family, life took an unfortunate turn for him. He was left outside day and night, confused and heartbroken, never understanding what he had done wrong.
Thankfully, he’s now safe in our care and making the most of his second chance. It’s been four months in boarding, and while he’s settled well with us, what he truly longs for is a family and a home of his own.
Our experienced behaviourist has spent time getting to know him and describes him as:
“A very lovely adult dog.”
During his assessment, he showed no signs of aggression, no anxiety, and no over-excitement. He was calm, relaxed, and settled quickly, happy to enjoy quiet companionship.
This handsome boy has made incredible strides with the support of his carers and our behaviourist. He’s fit, healthy, and learning how to channel his enthusiasm in positive ways. Whether it’s playing fetch out in the field, sniffing on a leisurely walk, or showing off his manners with a sit and paw on command—he’s eager to please and takes treats gently from your hand.
But don’t be fooled—he’s no pushover! He’s a big, strong lad who can still be powerful on the lead and needs an adopter who can confidently handle him and continue his socialisation, particularly around other dogs.
Sole dog in the home (he’s still building confidence around other dogs)
No small children, purely because of his strength and energy levels
An adopter experienced with larger breeds who can provide structure, boundaries, and plenty of love
A secure garden where he can play and explore
Continued guidance with his training and socialisation (we’ll support you!)
