Each dog here was once in need of love, security, and a fresh start. Thanks to our amazing community of adopters, volunteers, and supporters, these pups now enjoy the happy lives they deserve. Whether they’re now snoozing on sofas, exploring countryside trails, or learning new tricks in their gardens, these dogs are proof of the power of compassion and commitment.
Trixie came from a large litter which was saved from an unsuitable environment. Her new owner then struggled to cope, and she came to us to look for a new home. The family are truly dog whisperers! Trixie
was strong, determined with a high prey drive when we received her. Love, support, consistency and stimulation and here we have a calm, loving well rounded family dog. Youngest daughter Neve can walk
her with confidence as you can see! Well done and thank you!
Luna was referred to us by an existing adopter and she was in quite poor condition. We always consider new adopters on an individual basis – not by a immovable set of rules. So when Emma was sure she could integrate Luna into her family of other animals, we said we’d give it ago. Patience, boundaries, love – and Luna lives very happily with cats and other creatures. She is truly a wonderful dog now she is in her best environment.
Panda was large in character and small in stature, and this was getting her into all sorts of trouble with
the larger female dogs in her family. In her new home, she is still the boss, but the boys accept it, along
with the constant mothering she gives them to make up for it.
Kush was struggling in a household unable to cope with her size and boisterousness. Yet she was also wary and nervous of the outside world. Rehoming such a large dog is a real challenge for rescues across the country, and we were so grateful when Paul stepped up with the experience and environment that she so badly needed. What a playful, happy, confident dog she is now!
