Rain is a stunning black female pup, around 4–5 months old. She’s a mix – most likely Springer Spaniel with a hint of Collie or Labrador – and the result is a sleek-coated, bouncy, and very pretty little girl. Sadly, due to her owner’s ill health, she has come into our care and is now looking for her forever family.
Rain is every inch the typical puppy – bursting with zoomies one moment, curled up fast asleep the next. She’s super friendly, confident, and loves to play. She enjoys the company of other dogs, though as with any pup, she’s still learning when enough is enough!
She was only partially toilet trained when she arrived, but within just a few days in her foster home, she has already made great progress.
Rain comes with full Team Poundie Rescue Back Up, including support with her ongoing training and spaying when she is old enough. She is currently in foster care in Telford, Shropshire.
Rain has settled beautifully into her foster home and has already shown what a happy, playful little soul she is. She loves the garden, enjoys toys, and has great fun with the resident dog.
Like most pups, she is lively and needs plenty of stimulation, but when she’s tired she’s content to head into her crate for a nap. She loves her food, thrives on interaction, and is quickly proving herself to be a well-rounded, joyful puppy.
Rain will need a committed home that understands the demands – and the rewards – of raising a young pup:
An owner with the time and patience to continue her training and socialisation.
Someone at home most of the day, as she needs companionship and consistency.
A resident dog could be a good match, as Rain is young enough to adapt well – with careful introductions.
Dog-savvy children may also be suitable, ideally aged 5+ so they can respect her space and downtime.
